I love the written word! With its ability to stir emotions, change minds, hearts, and lives, I believe it’s one of the most powerful tools of mankind.

I fell in love with reading at an early age. The small Alabama community I grew up in didn't offer many entertainment venues. Reading became an integral part of my life, carrying me to far away destinations where I met extraordinary people and experienced their daring adventures. Summer vacation would have been long and lonely if not for the weekly visits of the book mobile. I would check out several each week and devour them as quickly as possible. Then I would reread them slowly, savoring each word.

My head has always been filled with characters and storylines, but I had never tried to write more than a chapter or two. One day, I issued myself a challenge: Write an entire book. A year later, I completed my first manuscript. I still remember the incredible feeling of accomplishment and joy when I typed that very last word.

My first series revolves around Last Chance Rescue, Inc., an organization that employs some of the most highly skilled and ruthless mercenaries in the world, with only one goal and purpose. These brave men and women do whatever it takes, no matter the cost, to rescue the innocent. And in the midst of rescuing victims, the heroes and heroines find their true love. The LCR stories include pulse pounding suspense, thrilling, sensual romance and a happy ending.

There are nine books in the LCR series and I’m currently working on another LCR novel, CHANCES ARE, which I plan to self-publish and release in the first half of 2013.

I also write under the pen name, Ella Grace. The first books under the Ella Grace name is the Wildefire series, which revolves around three sisters who return to their small hometown of Midnight, Alabama, to solve their parents’ murders. MIDNIGHT SECRETS, is scheduled for release April 30, 2013 and MIDNIGHT LIES, will release on September 24, 2013. Click on the Ella Grace link to learn more.
